Nice! I do a lot of the same ones, but for core, I use a stabilizer cuff under the lower back to measure lower back arch. I have the skater hold the gauge, and I find that visual provides helpful and measurable biofeedback that has enabled my athletes to improve their core strength significantly.

Thanks Linda! That's a great idea. These are a very small sample of the tests on the DVD. We include assessment tests for the core (several), back flexibility, upper extremity range of motion (shoulder external rotation and flexion), upper extremity strength (lower trap, shoulder external rotation), lower body strength (everything!) and lower body flexibility (everything!). I'd love to trade ideas some day!
