  • Mike, you're truly inspiring. I have watched you do this and marveled at your astonishing ability to show NASA in a humanistic and understandable way. As a huge fan of the space program since the time of Gemini, I have long believed that the public face of NASA needed to be more accessible to the average American, less dry, less by the book, more user friendly.. You sir, are the ideal NASA spokesman, and I sincerely hope that you stay with NASA for years to come, because you are PR gold

  • Hey Mike! You should definitely do this.. I mean videos from the inside, they are so awesome! This is the best PR NASA has ever produced.. They should buy you a camera and give you freedom to go and record events, interview, ask people what they do and how did they got there, etc.. You really got a talent for this. You make people feel they are part of the crew, this is really that inmersing. You'll do a wonderful CAPCOM because you reach people's hearts. All SVC followers are smiling now!

  • Mike ROCKS! Accomplished astronaut, good TV presence, and funny to boot! He puts a truly human touch on all the tough aspects of working on shuttle

  • Mike, you interrupt people too much. Let them finish their sentences. When you let them talk, you will find out more. Your incessant line of random questioning and half funny jokes is really frustrating for the people you are interviewing. Stay on topic. I hope you take your Adderall before you suit up. Listen, listen, listen. God Bless NASA and God Bless the United States.

  • i want to be flight director lol

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we want to travel to space?

    (2) Why do we feel that space exploration is so exciting?

    (3) Why do we enjoy the feeling of zero gravity and floating in the space?

    (4) Why do we think that space travel and space exploration is a kind of "American Dream"?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • Keep up the good work Astro Mike :-)

  • Are there more? Dr. Massimino, you have a great manner of eliciting delightfully personable comments from your colleagues. Your videos, thus, put a truly enjoyable "face" on astros. Perfetto.

  • You can tell Mike's very Italian. Even when he's asking questions and people are trying to a answer he never stops yapping! And he always wants to grab and control the camera. Ease up, buddy.

  • mike my teacher , your cousin showed us your last mission last year it was awesome

  • way too cool. when is the second addition gonna play?

ALSO... what is the little rectangular display with orange text that is at every console in Mission Control for?
