  • nice

  • fantastic music.

  • @Hashpotato Maybe it has eyes but we can't see it

  • @xIegionx because it didnt look good. A creature with no eyes is far scarier and more alien.

  • @SillyJillyComedy

    It's Alien's inner jaw.

  • @ThePatchworkPossum I certainly believe so.I always thought that was a big part of why people of the time period swooned over the romantic untertones in Universal's Dracula while some actually fainted in the theaters at Frankenstein's monster. And Dracula was by far the more feindish of the two, the man sullied one's very soul! Distortion of the human figure is VERY powerful in horror films. That notion is just as powerful today as it was then.I'm certain it's part of why Resident Evil is popular.

  • @Fredrock1982 Really? I thought the human skull aspect was stupid...I mean, it's meant to be an ALIEN. A creautre that has no relevance or similarity to man. I thought if anything, the skull was uncreative and brought the design down a notch.

But, to each their own, I understand and respect your opinion. That's a good point!

You can still buy plenty of figurines that have the skull slightly visable! :)

  • @Fredrock1982 Some day they will. In fact, there are already talks about a remake. I have always imagined it being so much better than the slow paced, overly suspenseful original film. Seriously, when I go to a movie in theaters called "Alien" I want to see the alien. I don't want to see brief glimpses and shadows of the alien. And I certainly don't want to spend over an hour and a half until we actually see an alien. Just my opinion. It was a classic, it's just not scary anymore.

  • @XboxAnnihilator Egads... I'd have to disagree. If I said think of any other actress portraying Ripley would you honestly say that again? The very thought of Halle Berry, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Angelina Jolie, or any other modern actress playing Ripley makes me shudder. I can't even imagine these films being remade in the horrible sexed-up over-dramatic Hollywood of today. The dark artistic edge they had would be utterly destroyed.
