Irrigation systems spraying water during the flood of 2008 is a common sight in the Wisconsin River Valley near Spring Green.
Sure Looks Crazy to Me!

  • i was in this flood. it was a terrible thing

  • haha wow thats so weird. you would think they would at least turn the water off.

  • I work for a company that runs probably 25% of the land in the spring green area. They lost 50% of their crops on that side of the river. One field was still under water in november. You have to irragate every day to save the crops you have left. Keep in mind that they also apply nitrogen through the irrigators.

  • K dats really stupid wat r they thinkin? I personally have seen this and it waz horrible!!!!! It waz even worse than it looks on this video!

  • K it seems somewhat stupid! Sure felt bad for those people who had that horrible flooding. That was REALLY scary!

  • durr there irrigating the crops that are still there, just because there is alot of water in the fields doesnt mean that the crops are getting water. the crops under the water are obviously dead, and we havent had much rain lately, aso the turn on the irrigations.
