The clear coat that is applied to protect the headlights deteriorates over time. The headlights look cloudy and don't shine very bright in this condition.

  • Nice job. For those of you who have a very mild haze from the start, use tire shine products (they are usually oil based) and spray some in a cloth or paper towel then rub it into the plastic lens. Depending on the amount of haze it can make a drastic difference.

  • i got the same problem and i sand it with paper 800 1400 n 3000 with water and soap after i used wax n buff it
