The Pogues' version of Dirty old town sounds in a video made with pictures taken during Sept. and Dec. 06 in Southampton (a couple of them are taken in Winchester but I included them just to suit the lyrics of the song :P)

Southampton couldn't be described as a dirty old town. It is a great place, with everything you could want from entertianment and food and also culture and history.
The shame now though is that most new developments are flats rather than houses. I love the place and whish I could still afford to live there.

i was born and bred in southampton and love it here, ive been all over the UK and not many towns are as nice as soton. it sure isnt perfect and has some dodgy parts but i love it
