It is a closely kept secret that humans past the age of 19 only sleep for 3 hours. The rest of the time adults spend in bed is just a pretense. They are carefully mapping out their next day in a self-induced state of catatonia which functions exactly like sleep.
Until you reach the age of 19, upon which you'll start to develop severe (but normal) insomnia, I suggest taking controlled substances to increase awareness during the day and to induce a rapid, efficient sleep state at night.

You can sleep when you're dead. Live as many waking hours as you can while you're in high school, because after high school you will get more time to sleep and your body won't even need it.
