For those who lack understanding, the KJV is full of flaws and misrepresentations. It was translated specifically to attempt to establish the "new" church of england under the control of king james. He even went so far as to change the name of one of the books in the NT from the original Hebrew of Ya'akov (english Jacob) to James so his name would be in the Bible. All of the cunting was diverted to the solar calendar when it is according to the Scriptures being a Lunar calendar.
@sonofeloah YESSSSSSS!!!!!! you are so right brother! My girlfriend is catholic and I am messianic--I told her recently that if she would learn and understand the jewish culture, festivals, and customs she would better understand what Christ was really about and what he did! It's not about becoming jewish at all, just having historical and cultural context. Only then can you really see how the WORD became flesh.....Praise ADONAI!
Don't read what isn't there. Nowhere does it say He ROSE on the first of the week, it just says that it is when Mary found the stone rolled away from the opening. This means one second, one hour, one day or just sometime before Mary got there. Remember He was born, lived, died and was burried a Hebrew. So it is not a stretch to find him going by the Hebrew day. If scripture says 3 day and 3 nights, then it was the creators definition of days and nights and He gave us a clear definition of that.
First off,,for all those who use KJV, it is taken from greek texts and not the original Hebrew / Aramaic that was the writing of the day, the language of the day. And in the heart of the earth in all of the semitic tongues does mean to be buried. This even includes Arabic and Armenian. And in many translations the word "day" is bracketed. If one were to learn the customs and the ways of the people Israel, they might come to see the truth in the testimony given here.
@WalkingInTruthPC WTF are you talking about??? first of all I wasn't being insulting now if you took it as an insult well, that's your problem, but don't be messaging me with BS anymore please, just keep it moving if you don't like what I say then don't read it!!! Peace
"But He answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." Matt 12:39-40
"3 days and 3 nights" isn't the question, "heart of the earth" is what is misunderstood here. Nowhere is "heart of the earth" identified in the Bible as the grave.

However, what did they find when they got to the tomb... It was EMPTY!
WalkingInTruthPC 1 year ago
Yeah... but the sign of Jonah states plainly... "3 days and 3 nights". Using your logic... you still can't get there.
