I understand its for fun, but a ladder player well not ladder im talking about iCCup or whatever online tourneys there is now a days, look at fastmap is for newbs. some may even play fastmap because everyone excepts it so much. from a person who used to play online tourney/league games, its newb that is why ppl call fastmap players newb. I have played fastmap its just not much skill more massing and go.

There aren't really "n00b" tactics, every tactic or build takes skill (albeit some more than others) and has its strengths as well as weaknesses. They can be beaten if you know how, obviously. Do you see a single strategy dominating the entire Starcraft scene?

Actually, in maps with close proximity to allies, such as Blood Bath, it's frequently used even in iCCup and high leagues.
