Why do I like so much religiously charge music when I'm an atheist?

As I have already said I don't wish to turn the comments section for a music video into a forum for theological debate so I'll be brief.

God made the rules and he punishes people by torturing them forever if they do not follow them.

We neither get to hear any say in what the rules are, nor do we get a stringent argument as to why they are good rules, we just have to follow them because a particular book says so.

That's stupid and immoral.

@commander7100 do you see the legal implications of what he did? we are in debt and our payment is eternity in hell, but Jesus payed our fine by enduring the cross. He took the punnishment instead, can you imagine experiencing and eternity of hell in that little time frame??? someone killing for pleasure or some psychotic reason like Jigsaw nowhere near the same as upholding God's law

When God created the universe he made the laws and amung those laws are the 10 commandments and if anyone breaks those commandments the punnishment is eternity in hell, God is just and must punnish sin. God will not allow liars, thieves, and adulterers into heaven, but "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." cont..

@maywade09 maybe if you knew the reason Christians feel the need to impress our belief on others. we love everyone and most of the time its hard to see that but its true. we believe the bible when it says that GOD is real and there is only one way to get to him and thats through jesus. and those who reject him will spend an eternity in hell. what would you do if you believed this would you sit back and watch them ultimately walk to their death or love them enough to try to tell them the truth!

@TheOmegajuice I believe that someone is allowed to believe anything that they chose. It does irritate me when people try to push their views and beliefs upon me and expect me to accept it. I believe what I believe for a reason and I have never and never plan to make someone NOT believe in god or religion or anything for that matter. To each is own. The world would be a much brighter place if everyone practiced that.
