Remember when working low to the beam consisted of more than sitting down, waving your arms then standing up again?

  • who is the second gymnast?

  • It was Charlotte Mackie in 2004

  • omgosh this is such a beautiful montage! its so sad that gymnastics evolved from such a beautifully dance filled style.

by the way, what is the song you used? it fits so well with the video!

  • It is Hana's Eyes by Maksim Mrvica

  • I love low to beam work!!! Specially splits!!!!

Loads of original clips and excellent quality!!!

I have few doubts on who is who

    The first two gymnasts and

    0:33, 1.01 1:24 2:39

  • 0:33 is Elena Gurova at the 1986 USSR Display

1:01 is Jackie Bender in 1991

I don't have a name for 1:24, she is a gymnast from the 1968 USSR Nationals

    2:39 is Jackie Bender again

  • 0:25 can anybody tell me who that girl is!

  • amazing montage! who is the girl at :39 and the ine at 2:27? than you!

  • I love the gymnast at 1:10 in the pink & white leo with the headstand 1/2 turn - any idea who this is? What a gorgeous move!

  • I miss this kind of low beam work. Current gymnasts just do a swingdown, put their hands in the air then jump right back onto their feet. No creativity.

  • @MostepanovaFan I think 1:24 is Larisa Petrik

  • @MostepanovaFan 1:33 Kanyo Eva/Hungary (?)

  • does anyone know who the girl is at 2:19?

  • I wish gymnasts these days would show more orginality in their beam work instead of them all having the same cookie-cutter, code-whoring routines.

  • 0:07 that was cool!

  • awesome montage! want to show this to all the current elite gymnasts, so they would incorporate some interesting close to the beam work
