The South China Sea is a fabulous hunting ground for treasure hunters. In the 18th and 19th centuries a stream of trading ships from Holland and England, and huge ocean going junks from China, criss crossed these seas, carrying countless treasures from the Orient. This unique DVD tells the hitherto untold stories of two remarkable treasure hunts. The first tells of the search for a treacherous reef that lay just beneath the surface of the sea, off the coast of Thailand, that was known to have wrecked countless sailing ships. The second tells of the wreck of a giant ocean-going junk just off the coast of Java, that led to the loss of some 2000 people, and that has come to be known as the Chinese Titanic. We live and dive with the hunters as they search the seabed for their treasure.
