Don't know if this will help you, but I use a pair of pantyhose to cover my locs at night. I can't stand a scarf tied around my head because it gives me a headache in the morning. I find the pantyhose will "cling" to my locs keeping it on my head. Also, if you want to go to sleep with damp hair, pantyhose allow the hair to dry and your scalp to breathe so you don't wake up with musty hair.
