In this video I had my front stage sound running off their own individual channel so the speakers can get worn in. Now that the speaker are worn in, I bridged the 4-channels into 2-channels. So, instead of 100 watts per channel, I am pushing 150 watts to each door speaker (front only). Soon, I will buy 4 more speakers and a JL HD600/4, because the G35 comes stock with 6 speakers. Right now I only have the 2 front speakers. When I am completely done, I will post a new video.

If you have any questions about car audio, I will be glad to answer them.

1 Image Dynamics IDQ12V3 Sub
1 JL Audio 900/5 Amp
2 CDT Audio HD-62im Component 6.5"
1 Pioneer FH-P8000BT
1 SWI-PS Steering Wheel Control Interface

Here are some facts that most people don't know about Capacitors. On the first instance of discharge, its capacitance is down by approximately 63.2% from its supplied voltage, and its no longer any help at all to stabilizing the voltage of the audio system. What matters here is how long and how often the capacitor is called upon to stabilize the voltage of the audio system during this time. The capacitor takes effectively five times longer to charge (for stabilizing the systems supply voltage) than it does to dump its effective energy and become a load on the electrical system. For systems that are constantly starving for stabilized voltage, a capacitor might not be as good an answer as an alternator upgrade (if it drives) or a battery (if its parked a lot at shows). Finally, if you have a problem with dimming headlamps, the capacitor is probably better installed on the lighting circuit near the headlamps than the audio system (it will require less capacitance, too).

  • strtballer32 Is your box sealed or ported? Do you know how many cubic feet? It looks fairly big. I have the exact same speaker and i'm usuing a 1.6 cubic ft sealed pro box with no polyfill and I can tell it's too small even though it's normal recommended is 1.3 cu ft. I've never had such a small enclosure for a sub. I'm thinking about making my own sealed box at about 2.5 and see how it sounds. I just put it in the pro box cuz i got it for $20.

  • @gueroPistolero1 My box is 1cu.ft. These subs only perform well in a certain size box. I am aware that you have the IDMax. I wouldn't stray too far away from the recommended 1.3cu.ft sealed or 2.72cu.ft ported. Those sizes are recommended for a reason. Even though it is claimed to be an SPL sub, Image Dynamics mostly focuses on SQ. Go ported if your looking for that little extra bit of output.

  • What happen with your old car, i like the SQ System you have in your avenger, the car burn because audio related or?.

But well this new car rulz :D

  • @cyclonex6 Got jumped outside a club. They stole my car and burned it. I got my revenge a couple days later. Trust me, they hurtin. So its all good, my insurance hooked me up too.
