Slavery is no different.
In times of crisis and poverty , people were sold as slaves to help make the world a better place. That was part of the law of Israel and it's people by Moses. Yes , God doesn't mind it. But the bible does say to treat people as you would yourself. Slaves were often treated as family and groomed as a family member.
