You know your lifting heavy when you have two spotters. Nice background music at my gym on campus they play really bad workout music (even enya once).

@thenewgeneration123 ...the ligaments are the most taut at full extension and flexion (i.e. when you're standing straight up, and when you're ATG). These are the areas where the knees have the most protection. Mathematically, the tautness of the ligaments follows a U curve; so somewhere at middle depths is actually the weakest area for your knees.
By the way, you don't need to even have a degree to become a personal trainer, so even though some know what they're talking about, many do not.
