The amount of diposits is really small compared with the total surface offered by all the filaments of a yarn. Of course, if you NEVER wash the garments, yes, after several days, salt diposits, body oils, fatty acyds, dirt and other debris could be an issue that could reduce efficiency. But with a regular washing routine, similar as with other garments, any such deposits are removed long before they become critical and the fibers remain fully operative.
I wonder: does salt (and other elements apart from the water in sweat) accumulate on/in this coolmax fabric as the water vaporizes? Wouldn't that stain or otherwise impair evaporative cooling?
