Weather Channel Error - Jan 22, 2008 - 1:45 AM ET

This happened about an two and a half hours after a power surge hit The Weather Channel's studios. They revert back to what appears to be an old WSI system (the computer that powers the satellite local forecast), and we have a glimpse of the old (1998-2006) weather icons that TWC used. Also, the famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) music of Trammell Starks plays in the background!

P.S. Notice how the screen goes green at :22. That appears to be the chroma key (green wall) that the OCMs stand in front of while on air.

i remember this i came home from work at 12:30 am that night and saw that emergency feed i thought it as just going to be a few minutes until i noticed it never ended then i said something is wrong so i popped in a empty tape and recorded jumpin by trammell and sadly i accidentally dropped the tape and it broke

oh wait that said 2008 the one i was talking about was in 2009 the 2009 storm sucked but thank god my grandmother had a 1950's wood stove the one in 08 was awesome though
