I knew and loved this song years before it appeared in this film. I admit the timing of this song in the film was right and it made me tear up.
As for the film...it hit me really hard, I was so angry and sad. :(

This is song makes me cry. It makes me feel the sorrow I would feel if my Mum died. i fear her dying and my dog, Chalupa passed away, I had him every since I was playing Barbie dolls and I am now 20. I was incredibly close with that animal..and it reminds me of the pain I feel now that he is gone and the pain he felt from being sick.

This song reminds me a little of one of the Gladiator soundtracks, "Now We Are Free" - it has the same sort of beautiful depth which just goes right to your soul. It's not quite as ethereal and heartbreaking, but still simply beautiful.
