I made this film with Lionheads The Movies Game. It was the top box office film of the site for all of January 2007 with first place ribbons from the site. And garnered many awards including nine TMO Golden Film Awards including, Best Picture, Best Romance Film, Best Actor, Skintrade as Julius Caesar, Best Actress, H_finochiaro as Cleopatra, Best Supporting Actor, EthanRunt as Ptolemy. Best Costume Design, Best Screenplay, Best Original Music score by David Ben Shannon (Up and coming film composer from England.) and Best Director. It was also Hot Picked: "This is the most amazing and inspiring work that ever hit TMO. Cleopatra war scenes are just so stunning. HotPicked by Critic's Center People's Pics." If the Queen of Egypt and everybody around her is in Africa why aren't the characters made to look African?

Cleopatra was of Greek decent direct from Alexander the Great's general Ptolemy I. Her court was mostly Greeks. Alexandria her capital city was a Greek Center in Egypt. There were in ancient times as there are today many shades of color in Egyptian from very dark to very fair. I hope that answers your question.
