i had noticed that the walls of apartments were made of some sort of wood, ( not sound proof ) and when the pressure cooker lets off steam it gives off a loud hiss, which, if you're not used to, can unnerve you even if you're in the next apartment ..hope i understood your question and responded correctly .. :-)

I live in the US and I've never heard of that. Why is it?

like i mentioned in my "about the video", in certain parts of the world ( i noticed this in the usa, your neighbours will complain if you use a pressure cooker.. and so it may not be possible to use .. further steam cooking is considered by many as a good way to retain the nutrients better in a cooked food than direct heating ..

this is such a simple technique..but whats the difference between this method and the regular one...are there any health reasons uncle..

youre welcome ... the large pot method is ok .. but inevitably ( my experience ) some of the rice gets stuck and burn in the bottom of the vessel .. a bit messy ..

an easier way to enjoy Brown Rice... look for gogo rice - fully cooked in a bowl - at Whole Food market or Trader Joe's.... ready in only 90 seconds... Quick, Easy and Healthier/Organic
