GARY LUCAS: PART 10 LIVE SPITZ 5/04/05

"Legendary left-field guitarist Gary Lucas" (The Guardian) plays here
live solo acoustic in a May 2005 concert at London's now sadly
departed Spitz club, right off Brick Lane in the Spitalfields
district (Jack the Ripper's old stomping grounds), in a concert
captured by a fan.
Here Gary Lucas sings his classic "Evangeline", the title song of his 1996 solo acoustic album, which also appeared in a full band arrangement on his "Coming Clean" album. This is followed by his stark original "Dance of Destiny", which galvanizes the London crowd. He then plays his arrangement of Percy Grainger's "Children's March (Over the Hills and Far Away)", originally on his "Bad Boys of the Arctic" album and reissued on "Operators are Standng By".
