    That's interesting. The Louisiana was commisioned in 1996 and it has an engine that old in it? Does it function as the subs emergency generator? Thanks for the reply by the way.

  • So does this in fact run on diesel, or heavy fuel oil? How many gallons or pounds/hr does it consume at full load?
