  • @manteohs10 yeah

  • I can't seem to hear the piano during the 2nd movement! That was my favourite part ;(.

  • @HolyEssence It's definitely there; you just might have to listen REALLY closely...

  • where'd you get the pic at 3:14?

    Nice playing btw :D

  • Can't remember exactly...I think I got it from Google...

    And thanks very much! :)

  • i personally like the first movt faster... when the speed is kept at this speed, it should feel heavier, if you happen to go with that.

not bad though! i'm obsessed with this piece!!!

  • woah, this is a great performing group! great job. This is by far my favorite concert band piece.

  • I have respect for anyone who can play the trombone part in the first movement. I can't play it to save my life.

  • Part of the first movement reminds me of the Starfox soundtrack XD

  • @HolyEssence I wish my school preformed it with the piano part...our principal sax player played it on his sax though. :\

  • @omyomygod Yes, the beginning was TOOOOOO SLOW! I have a professional recording of this, and played it in high school....my director took it at about 200bpm....and was it fast...but fun!

  • @df1guy11 I agree...Sounded off a lot...but a lot of the 2nd movement did. :(

  • I sightread this piece as a freshmen in my high school's wind ensemble then preformed it for contest the next year. This is by far my favorite Swearingen piece. I had so much fun with the trombone 1 part! :D I wish I could play it again.

  • The flute in the second movement was sharp and I feel like the solo should have more vibrato.

  • @HolyEssence Turn up the audio, it's there. I just listened to it :)

  • Very Very Very good!!!!! One thing i would work on is to listen a little more. Very good for a highschool band!!!

  • my favorite song cuz the euphonium solo at the end I live it so much I can not get it out of my head
