Rift: Moonshade Highlands Puzzle - Solo

Update: As of 1.3 you no longer click the lights like in this video, but rather the devices themselves. This actually makes it significantly easier! Just make sure you remember to pause in between each click on your first round.

Just a quick video of me soloing the puzzle in Moonshade Highlands. It's not particularly exciting, and my recording is sloppy and ugly because my computer can't really handle recording at this resolution fine, but a lot of people seem to think you need numerous people in order to pull this off.

This is merely to demonstrate how to do it solo. The main thing is realizing that you can use the buttons from far away if you just stand near the center, so you don't have to run around.

Same, I'm even trying to copy your exact timing on the buttons yet I can't get it all to work, is this only possible with like a ping of under 50 or something?

@nzalchemist Honestly, latency might be a big factor in how difficult this is, because you can't actually click the buttons until you see that they're disabled, and during that time the charge is continually going down. I personally average around 60ms ping.

Same as above, you can still get in the right place to click all of them without moving.

@FlamingSB You just need to move around and make sure your mouseover on all the devices is possible, then settle at that spot. Instead of trying to stand at the exact spot where the uploader is at, try to find one that fits you instead.

@nzalchemist I have 250-300 ms ping and have no problem doing it. If anything, you can try spamming your clicks because there's a tiny time frame before the light goes out when it becomes clickable. After each rotation I usually progress 1-2 bars so it may take a bit.

This is MUCH MUCH easier if you start from the end of the clickers. Not the first one.

Ok guys you can click all of them from a certain point, its like 3 steps forward from the two by the electric box. i found the best way to do this was to click them in a clockwise rotation, it worked fairly well. and no awkward mouse movements. Another thing i did was as soon as one was about to expire, i moved my mouse to click it, and when it went from a pointer to an interact icon, i clicked. DONT wait for the light.. as it is too slow itself.
