I think the confusion is because the Taurus used to compete in the same class as the Camry. Now, however, the Fusion is about the same size as the original Taurus.

Fusion is a great car I would love to own one of these - I'm glad that the ignition is a turn key, so if I need to turn it off, I turn the key. I think I am capable of that, and I don't need a computer system to do it for me.

Some one up made a comment abt Fusion competing eith Civic and not Camry.

Focus competes with Civic/Corrola, Fusion is 1 inch longer than Camry. 190.2 inch for fusion to 189.2 for camry. 2009/10 Taurus compete with Avalon and taurus is bigger than Avalon.
