Completely rebuilt LT1 .30 over, Aluminum Trick Flow Ported Heads, LT4 Camshaft, MSD Ignition, Rebuilt 700R4 street/strip kit, 3000 stall. Full Custom Cat-less exhaust with flowmaster muffler setup & Shorty Edelbrock Headers

@54Marlboro Upon a quick 10 second google search I was able to see that most 87 Irocs side decals are up front and not in the back, while a few do seem to have it in the rear Also I know what my vin# is which proves the car is an 87. The Bumper says z28 because the car came with a 305 carb, not tpi. The car is a 1987 model. 86 Camaros' also had a 3rd brake light eye on the back window up top.

@mattsrepair10 TBI did not come on a camaro until 1988,other than the crossfire injected 305's in the 1982-83 z28's,which had dual throttle bodies.The 305 TBI was an optional engine in the' 88 sport coupe camaro,standard in the convertible sport coupe,& was the base engine in the IROC camaro.Beginning in 1983,the L69 305 had a 4 bbl carburetor,& was rated at 190hp.LG4 305 also was 4 bbl,(1982-1987).Code changed to LO3 in 1988(TBI) 170 hp.Any non TPI V8 camaro '85-'87 was 4bbl carb

@mattsrepair10 87 IROC M5,A4 LG4 V8 9.3:1 5.0 (305) 170@4400 250@2800 4V 3.23 ---- 2.73 ---- Thats right off of the Fbody Database Bro, 4v is 305 Carb setup. It was the baby of the Iroc motors made in 87. But the body of this car was too cherry to pass up so I just did the swap instead of buying a true 350 Iroc. I don't just babble off information im not sure of. You can check for yourself.

@APontiacof455cubes I think this discussion has ended up rite into the laps of guys that actually BUILT the IROCS on the assembly line,and they can tell you that there was NO specific order for which the sticker was to be placed.Some are up front and some in the rear.HOWEVER...I do believe that IrocZGuy87....is full of shit,if he thinks that an 87 model IROC-Z came in a 305 with a carb.....throttle body....maybe...maybe.Carb....­.NO way in hell.
