Boise State 2012 - Wolf Against the World

This video is for Bronco fans, by a Bronco fan. After a slow start it ramps up rapidly. Don't try to keep up, it is meant to be like a visual stream of consciousness, kind of like rapid fire memories flashing before your eyes or one of those quick mental uploads we saw in the movie The Matrix. The goal shouldn't be to take in every solitary image, but to have an overall sense of what Boise State football looks and feels like by the time the video is over.

Every player featured in this video is on the 2012 roster. While I can't predict what this season will look like exactly, I do believe this group of players will carry the torch forward over the next two to four years. This team has a core of veterans that have quite a bit of experience, despite what the prognosticators say. Guys like Joe Southwick, Jamar Taylor, Jerrell Gavins, Mike Atkinson, Mitch Burroughs, Charles Leno, Faraji Wright, and J.C. Percy. It also has some of the best raw talent in its underclassmen that BSU has seen in its history. Guys like Jimmy Laughrea and Nick Patti at QB, Jay Ajayi and Jack Fields at RB, Matt Miller and Shane Williams-Rhodes at WR, Travis Averill and Rees Odhiambo at OL, Blake Renaud and Tyler Gray at LB, Sam Ukwuachu at DE, Jeremy Ioane and Lee Hightower at Safety, Bryan Douglas at CB, and many many others.

Whatever this season turns out to be like, the future is very bright for Boise State.

Actually I got nothing against the Vandals. I just felt that framed the humor and irony of how people act in general pretty well. I think it's hilarious that people will scream about fair opportunity, equal rights, or leveling the playing field, and then turn around and shred a very good team b/c they think they haven't earned it in the SoS dept. The song is a mashup of Tupac (Me Against the World), TV on the Radio (Wolf Like Me), Rhianna (So Hard), Eminem (Various), and Marine Corp (Fired Up)
