Nat and Rosalina Always episode 12

"Do you think of him this much when you're not with me?"
"Yeah well I've gotta go, um dry my eyes from heartache!"
Bobby followed her gaze to see Nat being kissed by Kristina.
Bobby smiled evilly.
"Perfect!"

Nat turned to Cooper.
"Remind me why I had to kiss her?"
"Because it's good publicity for a rockstar to be seen kissing a girl in NYC."
"Cooper I'm sorry man, but I just have a lot on my mind! And this? This is just adding a lot more."
Roalina walked past them.
"Hi Rosalina!"
No answer.
"Rosalina I need to teach you the new song... why are you getting your bass and it's case?"
"Because I am sick of you trying to rub some other girl in my face! Even after I told you why I broke up with you!"
"I'm... I'm sorry I was being stupid, and it was Cooper's idea to get publicity."
"Whatever..."
"Wait are you quitting?"
"Yeah... I guess I am...."
Cooper whispered into Nat's ear.
"Don't worry I think Kristina plays bass."
"I don't want Kristina in the band! I want Rosalina!"
He turned back to Rosalina.
"If you stay I promise I will never listen to Cooper's dumb ideas ever again!"
She looked away.
"Nat..."
Nat took her into his arms and she looked into his eyes. He was now watered up as if he were about to cry.
"Rosalina if you quit this band then I'll... We'll be really really sad and lost with out you. I won't ever bring up how big of a phoney Bobby is in fact you can date him no matter how much it hurts me! Just please, please don't go!"
She looked up and sighed.
"Okay... I'll stay. And honestly, if you really like that Kristina girl then fine. I won't get in the way."
Nat stop listening at "I'll stay" for right after the words crossed her lips, he hugged her tightly.

Rosalina met Bobby at the food court.
"Why did you go back after he clearly proved he doesn't deserve you?"
She sighed.
"He may not, but the band does and they do need me, plus I'm not really the quitting type of person."
"Well if it were me in his position, I'd write you the most beautiful ballet dedicated to you! In fact, that's just what I'm goin to do, to win you over."
"Wait what?"
Bobby stood on the table with a boom box and hit play.
"Here's a new song I call, "Girl of my Dreams". For you Rosalina"
The music played and Bobby sang in a low voice, but Rosalina was more shocked than anyone.
When the song finished, Bobby stepped down.
Rosalina hugged him.
"Thank you Bobby that did make me feel better! You're an amazing friend."
Nat watched this whole scene play out.
"That's my song!"
He said furiously.
Rosalina let go of Bobby.
"No Bobby wrote it and I would know, because you never even showed me that one before."
"I wrote it after that dream I had! Come on Rosalina do you think this liar can write like that?"
Rosalina turned to Bobby.
"Bobby this is your song right?"
"Of course it is! I would never lie! In fact he's the one who's been lying."
"Are you kidding me? You read from her diary to get your stories, you beat me up, and I'm sick of it!" He charged at Bobby and threw some pretty good punches.
"Stop lying to Rosalina and turning her against me!"
Nat said struggling.
Bobby looked helpless and scared, but his mouth was running.
"You think Rosalina cares about you? Then why does she believe me? Why is she just spending her time with me? Why did she hug me?"
Nat shoved him again.
"Because you've got her mixed in a web of your lies, but I can read people way better than her!"
Rosalina pulled Nat and Bobby apart.
"Stop it you guys! I'm tired of this! I'm tired of you guys fighting over me! Nat Bobby wrote that song! I would've heard you playing it considering I'm in the band!"
"It's a new piece!"
"Well maybe you heard him play it, because Bobby's right! You haven't been 100% honest with me lately so why should I believe you? He's been there to help me through it all and I'm glad..."
"Glad? About what?"
"That we broke up!"
The words hurt for her to say and she didn't mean them. She was hiding behind them and was just mad. In fact she meant the opposite.

That night Nat was just lying in bed with just the previous scene playing over and over in his head like a broken record. Only the record wasn't broken. His heart however was a different story.
