When President Barack Obama arrives in China later this month, he'll head first to its booming commercial capital Shanghai. U.S.-Chinese economic ties are increasingly important to the two countries' overall relationship, so much so, that some believe Washington purposefully avoids raising contentious issues with China in an effort to curry favor with its leaders. VOA's William Ide has more from Washington.
@stealthpakfa then why is it that thousands of chinese continue to migrate to the US, and US citizens do not migrate to china. that goes for every other country on this planet, not just china. and the US does not have over a billion people living in poverty, do they?

More great news, we continue to chip away at our currency, our GDP (what GDP??? and sell our soul to communist countries while we diminish our power and interests in the international arena. This administration has sold us out below wholesale to cheap producers and low or zero tax economies while we continue to fester with the infection of overspending and caustic policy. I wish DC would wake up and quit ruining whats left of this once great country.
