got DOT, air line on trailer rubbing axle, DOT had me call service and sign release, all it took was zip tie to hold line off axle, $200, and 4 hours!

Just so you know, also. Microsoft Streets and Trips with GPS Unit is only $90 for those looking to have the same functionability as Delourme, but the extended traffic details provided by Microsoft GPS hourly if you have mobile internet.

Good info on the weather channel much better then the one I use. The inverter. Well I have a Cobra 1500 and for some reason it won't run a microwave. Every time I start the Mic it overloads the inverter. But other then that it works just fine.

Great advice. Especially on the inverter. As an added safety, if you wire your inverter directly to the battery, place a fuse in that lead also. Many cars go up in smoke because their boom box amp negative comes in contact with a high amperage positive line and burs out the negative line.

I have the Delourme mapping software and it works really well. It's not perfect put it make a big difference and alleviates a ton of stress. Badbear did I hear you right in this video say that yours has height restrictions ? Mine doesn't do truck routing and I have to adjust the route myself for the truck roads. Was that something you downloaded adding to the Delourne program or did it come with yours ? I have Delourm LT-20 mapping software . It came with the earthmate GPS.
