@AliceCullen4242 Isnt mainstream and pop two separate things though? I always thought mainstream is about how many fans they have not what genre they are. They are nominated for so many grammys,they are played on the radio and vh1 all the time that makes them mainstream

@ijurcough yeah it's kinda ignorant, but just an opinion. I don't personally care for a lot of the "mainstream music" i guess is the best way to put it. I've just started stumbling into these types of bands along with mumford and sons, trapled by turtles, and other awesome string bands. To each their own they say.
