Free-swimming banded sea snake/sea krait - extremely poisonous/venomous, but his mouth really isn't big enough to bite a human anywhere except on the hand. Keep your hands to yourself.

  • The incredible thing is that it is almost exactly the same like a normal snake, I wonder how evolution got snakes to breath under water... truly amazing

  • @WWEFAN952 - they don't breathe underwater. They have to surface.

  • The sea snake won't harm you Steve irwin handled one and it didn't mind what so ever if your gentle with a snake then it is less likely to attack you. However there are complete wankers out there who hurt the snake by grabbing it hard around between it's head and throat hopefully one day you will be bitten and serves you right.

  • I swam with one in fiji like a month ago it was about 5meters under me!! Fun tho i saw 1 sandy colored one and this one

  • @pixelkatt lol you mad that guy above you seem s retarded

  • for supposedly having the most toxic venom among snakes,i hear they are very docile

  • @belgian200 where did u see it I realey want to swim with one because I luv snorkeling

  • i agree babe4fish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.

  • I fear these snakes more than I do sharks. Why you ask? Being Bitten Is Pretty Much a Death Sentense.

  • I uses to play with these as a kid in Suva...put them around my neck a few times etc

wouldn`t do it now at 45 though but then hey...i was only a kid and was told its ok,they are harmless...i never got bitten...

I believe they are called DUN DUN DA LA GI`S excuse the wrong spelling but its roughly how it is pronounced in Fijian..good luck...Fiji Isa! ni sa bulla
