Newark Liberty International Airport (Irene Part Two)

Newark Airport is one of the busiest airports in the east coast but with Hurricane Irene all aircraft had to be relocated to other areas for safety, the images of desolation are reminiscent of the Overlook Hotel in the movie The Shining by Stanley Kubrick, Mine feels desolate but not necessarily bleak, I kept the color palette as is, no gradation or coloring, its a simple concept nothing else. the camera is Canon HF S20 on a tripod. The fictional Overlook Hotel is actually the Stanley Hotel in Colorado.

Indeed, I have been working at EWR for 15 years and never seen in it completely empty like this, what a day, it was like this on Sunday as well, MOnday morning everything began to get back to normal.
