  • Hi Buddy, I have a 93 ford Truck E-350 1 Ton Econoline - Van and something happened with the transmission (automatic), full fluid level its OK but when into 1 and 2 .... the truck runs good but for 3rd and 4th the RPMs go up and up (foot on gas accelerating), but the truck doesn't speed up .... i'm stuck on 1st and 2nd...

    -Solenoid problem ?

-Should I reset by disconnecting battery ?

-No OD light flashes in dashboard.

    -No ''CHECK ENGINE'' light.

    Thanks for any help .

  • 2000 dodge dakota reverse does not work now worked earlier in day made no noise forward is just fine you can feel when the trans shifts into gear but does not move wires sensors to look for

  • i got a issue with my olsmobile bravada when i stop at a light i can give it gas but it hesitates like im getting pushed and i also smell something from the inside of the vehicle could that be a transmission problem

  • @megpots it has nothing to do with Ur tranny. It's just your kick down linkage. Look down by the tranny where the linkage connects. There is an adjustment skrew that shiffted out of place. Easy breezy fix :b

  • hello, i got a transmission problem on my e300 mercedes '98 please read if u can help , the shifting stick has been forced from P to D without pressing brakes and now places have been messed up, at N my car goes reverse(acts as if its put on R) at N it goes forward (D) and so on all have been changed, how much could this problem cost, any way to fix it without having to dismentle the whole thing. thanks:)

  • I take that back it does it cold too. Only in low when moving

  • I have a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina sedan, the transmission makes a thud sound/feel when engaging reverse and/or drive on morning starts or allowing to stand, cool and restart. Any advice in this circumstance?

  • Hi,

I am having an issue with a TH350 trans , I was driving with no issues , then at low speeds in fist gear (low) the trans it ticking . Sounds like a rocker came off the motor . This only happens in Low , once it shifts to 2nd , no noise and none in 3rd . The ticking raises in speed as the truck does , only in low . If I shift to neutral , the noise goes away , even if rev'd ,soon as I put it in low noise is back . Cold the noise is not there ?

    Thanks B.

  • not sure if anybody can help me, but i have a manual tranny and im not sure if this is a transmission problem but i have a clicking noise that is speed dependent when i am in neutral and coasting ive turned my car off and coasted and its still clicks and on it still clicks, i push the clutch in and it still clicks and let off the clutch and it still clicks the only time seems to be in neutral though i dont think i can hear while in gear and nothing is stuck in my tires.

  • I have an Honda Passport 2000, sometimes when I shift the car to "D", the indicator in the dashboard is either on "P", or the light is off. Then, I shut the car off and after several tries the light on the dashboard indicator is lit and the letters on the dashboard and the shifting handle, match. There is not burning smell, no leaks and the transmission shifts smoothly. Whe there is a mismatch between tha dashboard and the shifting gear, there is a thud when it changes to the 2nd gear.
