Sabayon 5.5 GNOME Review - Linux Distro Reviews

A review of the recently released GNOME edition of Sabayon. Again overall impressions are fairly positive, no sound issues as stated in the KDE version. It's definitely a power user distro for those who love Linux as a core, and want configuration options dropped conveniently into the menus. A powerful, modular distro that could provide a rock solid developer platform.

Hi. I like this OS and I appreciate the work you are doing. Do you know where from the 5.5 (Gnome) version can still be downloaded? All the links I found lead to the last version (6.0). I have some problems with the video card (NVidia) on the computer on wich I tried Sabayon 6.0. Ver. 5.2 works fine (I downloaded earlier), but I want to try also 5.5. So, can you help me?

@gepetto336 No, I can't find Sabayon 5.5 anywhere. Problem is that it's a rolling release, so it's kind of hard for it to stay stagnant on the web with its iso's. Sorry bout that...

Man, you are doing a great job. I am a very stable user, I am still on Ubuntu 10.04, I do not probe all the distros..Your work is great for me, because it allows me to see the work on other distros without install it or download it. THANKS
