i know what it is like living wit CKD because unfortuantely i have...i have been living wit CKD for 1 year now & im still alive thank god because i was lucky enough to have had a kidney transplant 7 months ago....its not easy but i deal wit it everyday....so this is a serious thing most Americans are going through even people my age & i am 16 & its hard but now i know that i need to value my life a little more living wit CKD

This is awesome. As someone living with CKD I find Luis's story highly inspirational and I think it's wonderful that you are helping to tell that story. Thank you!

His art has a sort of melancholic beauty to it... can't stop staring. Those sculptures are particularly beautiful. What does he use?

Looking forward to when the doc's finished. That artist does some fantastic work. I hope he gets another donor. What a difficult and uncertain way to live.

Thanks Mike - it's gonna be a long process I can only shoot here and there, when I have access to a camera, when he's not feeling sick (and when something interesting is hopefully going on).. but I'm in it for the long haul!
