So how do you make a good game from a movie with no guns?

As Probe showed, you get all toys from the previous movie and off you go, baldy Ripley goes Rambo.

But there was only one Alien on the movie!

Again, Probe saves the day, for in the game, there are hundreads! Good thing we got tons of ammo as well.

This was a really great game back when it came out, it had varied missions, loads of places to go and I was just sad it did not have a final Ripley vs Queen showdown... no cart space or no dev time, I guess, since the Queen does appear in the game ending.

Also, why not take one of the most famous voice samples in sampling history from the previous movie? "Gameover, man, Gameover!"

  • hey does anyone know how i can get the theme songs to this @3:46 i always liked this song but who composed it???

  • @Larry20088 Pretty good question. The game was developed by Probe Software but unless you see the end credits or find the game manual (I actually do have this, but in storage) I have no clue where to look that up.

  • I actually liked this game. One of the best movie-based games on the SNES, and highly underrated if you ask me.

  • this game could have been CLASSIC! if not for the awful redundancy of the missions. it had it all--great graphics, zero framrate issues, amazing sound effects, the aliens!, and a stellar soundtrack that really made you feel like you were in the aliens franchise which really enhanced the tension and dread. still, its underrated. although, nintendo themselves did show some respect and rated it #100 out of 100 best games for NES, SNES, and N64 around the year 2000. Not bad for an LJN game.

  • it is very cool ,I have it for ps2

  • aliens 3 for megadrive is better

  • Weird, weird game. I'm sure I played it all the way through to the end, but remember never quite enjoying myself.

  • @LeviathanMist
