  • I honestly can't tell anything from this video. First, he's using the built-in mic in the camcorder and there's a lot of background noise. Second, the amp isn't that loud--I'm hearing the actual strings more. Third, the before and after shots are from different angles, which means the mic placement was different. I believe RS Guitarworks makes good stuff but If want to really convince people that their kits really make a difference, then they need to do a better test video.

  • If you use .01 instead of .015 like in Hamer's you can use the tone control from ZERO to 10 and hear incredible differences in tone and add tone on your amp with the tone knob back to halfway and when you want to stand out in the mix...roll on the tone and "instant punch" in the mix...try it!

Honestly,You are damned Right !!! The Sound is Crap even after and when you do that kind of Upgrade, you first make sure that you have a great sounding before doing the Job!!! And you start your DEMO WITH clear SOUND, WITHOUT ANY CRUNCH JUST TO BE ABLE TO HEAR THE TONE OF THE GUITAR !!! SECOND THING IS TO KEEP THE SAME AMOUNT OF VOLUME TO DO THE TEST...I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THAT RS GUITARWORKS WICH IS A VERY SERIOUS GUITAR PARTS STORE CAN EVEN PUBLISH SUCH A BAD DEMO ...DAN

  • I can definately hear the difference. Im not sure if this would really be a great mod for my VOS R8. What do you think. Because I am still having a bit of trouble with my neck pickup when it is cranked. It is too muffled.

  • I send all my customers to RS and they swear by their products. Its a bad idea to have any 300K pots in a Les Paul, Gibson sometimes mixes 500's and 300's. Paper in oil .022uf are best for vintage PAF tones, this is what I use with mine. RS uses .015's I believe for neck which works on commercial pickups which tend to be very muddy designs. RS makes great products, check out their website store...

  • Are all pots 500k? tnx. Sounds great btw

  • Iis the guitar a standard or a studio? Also if it is a Standard is it chambered?
