Looking fairly good,

Some advice, i think you should just scratch the bomb bomb characters and just put mario in, or somthing else. second, you sorta have a fog of war going on, i personally dont like that and most people dont ( fog of war is where you have to move further along to see whats ahead of you.

if you fix these things ( basically just completley copy mario) this will be a HUGE Hit

I dont want to get into legal issues by copying mario completely, If i was to show the full map on the screen all you would see is dots, which isnt good, this is how mario games are played pretty much anyway

Don't wanna copy mario? Just get some other sprites on Google (Preferably one that's user created).
