I was 9/10 years old when I did this ad, I was born in 1958, so it was 1967/68. I will be 53 this October. Some common questions people ask: This is not my voice, I did sing during filming, but they put someone else's voice on. It is not my real Mom on the Ad. I did several other ads, but this was the only one that I was solo and got to be a hit. Finally, in those days in Iran they did not pay for making ads, they gifted me a bicycle and a tape player.

I put this lovely commercial on my ipad took it to Iran and showed it to a lot of people, they just loved it. Thanks for posting this wonderful clip.

@btabatabai See, I was close estimating age/year :) I was around 5 then but we had a black and white TV, very few had color TV's back then if any. I remember they used other people's voices on actors in Iran even for Googoosh and Behrooz-Vosooghi which made me angry because you could tell it's the same guy's voice in many movies :) No one paid for or appreciated actors or sports heros in our country until about 10-15 years ago when they started leaving Iran for higher paying jobs in Euope or US.

@ChangeForBalance She's not 13 here, Iranian 13 year olds look like grown women, she's 3rd grader around age 10 max and this looks like around 1969 so that makes her born in 1959 and now age 52. Here, we found it :)

@Hesam0000 she says it was from 40 years ago... so I think it is from 1971... and also i think she is older than 6 in this video.. I think she is about 12 or 13 years old at the time making her 52 now...

@ChangeForBalance So this commercial can't be from 63 because she's around 6-7 here and that would make her at least 48+6=54 she can't be 4 here. Or maybe the commercial is from 1965-66. I remember color TV films started in Iran mid to late 60s.
