  • nice to hear u walked away without serous injury. Yeah the ls1 are sweet, but unfortunetly they were out of my price range when I went to by the lt1, but i'm stil very happy with it. Summer is the best with the t roofs off.

  • @PorkChop513 I thought they were gonna be outta my price range but they aren't that bad really. And now you can get away with one for around 6500 for a decent one, my buddy just bought a cam head intake, 6 speed Z28 ls1 for like 7500 or 8k, and his gf just picked up an 01 ws6, with a tune, exhaust and a lid for 7500 bucks... Ws6 obviously are more though.

  • That sucks, your car got totaled. I hope u wern't hurt. I guess you ended up getting a ls1 camaro. Looks pretty sick with those welds. Did you have to shave the calipers to get them on? I now the ls1's are faster but exhaust wise which sounds better? Lots of people tell me that the lt1 souns more old school.

  • @PorkChop513 My ribs were a little sore the next couple days but nothing too bad... My window shattered out and the door was stuck shut, but the glass didn't hit me because of the window tint, covered over me and the glass flew around my head. Yes I had to trim the rear calipers, angle grinder makes short work of them. You can get the race star industries wheels (formally Greg Welds) and they don't have to be trimmed for those. I love how ls1's sound, and the power they make.

  • Yeah we both have the same set up then, except I don't have the shift kit. I think i'm going with the corvette syncro's to open up 2nd and 4th gear, apparentely it makes a big difference. Check out my camaro video's.

  • @PorkChop513 I ended up stepping up to a th400 with 3k nitrous stall (wish i had a NA converter with a higher stall but I planned to put bottle on the car) about a week before the car got totaled (F350 ran a redlight and tboned my driver door...) car ran pretty good with the th400 in it though, just real short geared, topped out at like 112 or something in there, short tires, 3 gears, and smaller n20 stall didn't work too well.

I have videos of both cars racing on here in my videos.

  • Sounds like chewbacca takin a shit.

  • Nice camaro but i fuckin hate the way lt1's sound at like low to mid rpm's they sound just like third gens. thats the sound i have got to get rid of and this exhaust brings that 3rd gen sound out even more so i will never buy this exhaust. But anyway nice car dude. As long as you like the sound it really shouldn't matter how other people think it sounds i just had to go on a quick rant lol.

  • SHIT!! YOU JUST SPENT A FULL GAS TANK RITE THERE xD

  • @GMMGJethot doesn't sound anything like my thirdgen. This kinda sounds like a v6 to me, almost ricey. A low throaty idle and a roaring high rpm sound is what the v8 thirden has. This one sounds like my brother's subaru.

  • @PorkChop513 it's an auto car, 3.23 gears, and the trans was definitely hot, it was chirping 2nd earlier no problem, when it would get hot it ran a lot shittier... Givin this car was only intake, minor exhaust and shift kit.
