I believe that the movie is about "Shared Psychosis Disorder" and how it actually feels like.It's a condition where a healthy but dependent person,endorses the belief of a psychotic person,cuz she/he is dependent.It's more common in parent-child relationship. The healthy person is able to recover after seperation,but the dominant person needs treatment.The 2 are very strong together,living in their own world, just like in the movie.If that was the point of the movie I think they did a great job!
