Marfan syndrome is a genetic condition that affects the body's connective tissues. An expert describes the indicators of the conditions and explains how the lack of support and structure from the connective tissue can damage the eyes, the skeleton and the blood vessels. There is currently no cure for Marfan syndrome.

  • i am 11 and have marfans. People worry about me often and I am always In alot of pain when I run :(

  • After ten years of various problems and visiting various hospital depts I have recently been diagnosed with Marfans at the age of 36. I have most of the Marfan traits inc the enlarged Aorta, TMJ (jaw problem) inc many more. Maybe if this video and other information was available when i was younger then it might have helped me get diagnosed earlier. I hope this helps other people who think they have Marfans.
