One of the first public performance of East Lothian's new pipe 'anthem' , The Haddington Turnpike, which was written by Bruce Thomson and selected after a competition which attracted more than 50 entries from around the globe. The massed pipe bands of East Lothian, Scotland along with the Royal Scots Association Pipe Band perform here in Athelstaneford the birthplace of the Saltire, the national flag of Scotland, as part of Homecoming Scotland 2009.
The drums were sounding good.
