Extreme Newspaper Bundle Delivery

Way before I get to my home delivery work, I have my warehouse tasks. After my warehouse tasks, I am a hauler. Hauler (in this instance) means bundle driver. I carry a pretty big bundle load, hence the name of this video. In short, this video shows a fairly typical beginning of a Friday work day for me. I thank my co-workers for being such good sports as I shot this video this morning. For the curious, I am hauling with a 1997 Oldsmobile Silhouette Mini Van this time around. I've had it for over two years. It's a tough, great running vehicle. I highly recommend buying one, if you can find one. My other vehicle is a 1999 Ford Expedition, but it was spending some time at the dealership on this particular morning.

i do 400 papers in 4.5 hours thats almost 100 papers per hour and the toronto star is not small i take them all and bag them as im driving. then deliver them but if im one minute past 7 am i have to pay $10 for every paper that is not on time

I see what you're saying. You've got some pressure on you. 400 is a lot, and you have time constraints. Well, as you can see, it's not daylight when I start, but it is when I finish. The reason I use large SUVs sometimes is that I have these bundle hauls to do. I've carried loads so heavy that I've actually broken my suspension three times. When the papers aren't too heavy and big, I do use a smaller vehicle. Right now, I have an Expedition and a Taurus. Most of the time, I use the Taurus.

I deliver some Gloucester Times in Rockport, about 250 homes. I know of a couple of guys who do the Globes in Rockport, but I would guess that there's more Globe drivers in Rockport than just two.

400 papers? come on i do 400 in 45 min? what gives must be some long route or something i have been doing 900 papers daily for 6 years and it only take me at the most 2 hours. i drive an astro van awd and a blazer but i prefer the astro cause its more roomy i own my own agency if im late im not going to make myself pay but i have never been late
