True scientists say, "We are aware that our theories are not perfect, just the best fit." No claims to absolute truth are believed because none are made. There is a recognition of what we are all forced to work with. And there is a recognition that science works.
This video challenges the claim that a belief in science requires equal faith to the belief in a god.

If you hold this to be true then how might perseverance be conditional?

@FRdemo9 Well, that would be illogical and unethical with the perseverance of the saints. Could you explain why you think its possible for people to lose their salvation?

If I was religious I would be morally obligated to get as many people to declare their love for God and then promptly shoot them in the head before they had a chance to sin or abandon Him. I just couldn’t live with myself in Heaven knowing that I could have prevented people from suffering infinitely much pain for eternity. Do you know how long eternity is? I’m sure God would have a special place for me by his side in the kingdom of light. It would be wonderful.
