  • I hurt my muscles a few months ago and my muscles hurt like hell.. then i kept them warm for a few days and kept massaging it till it went away.. does that mean they were ripped? or a bit overstretched but not ripped?

  • @DancerGurrl143 I am no doctor so I am not sure, but it is good that you massaged it and it went away. I am always torn between heating or icing muscles and it really depends on the injury!

  • its winter here, so no summer intensive for me.... WINTER INTENSIVE!! its for 3 days.. so excited! Quite a few girls from my studio are going, so thats cool... it'll be a much needed break from rehersing our Alice in Wonderland production (im the white queen!) which opens in 72 days D:

    we're doing it as a ballet- even using SOME of the songs from the soundtrack of the new movie!

    its almost finished... we have only about 50 people in it, ballet students aged 5-20 (the little kids are flowers who only have one dance, and bigger roles of course went to the older students, which makes up most of the production)

    26 days to go!

  • @DancerGurrl143 yes!!! massaging is very good for flexibility! i may make a vid soon about it!

  • @Balletlove282 have many many massages! My back was sooo not flexible and I got so many massages so then it got easier for me to crack it! then warm up and try doing that you want to do and it'll work! But you gotta give it time! Took me 3 months!

  • I'm doing two separate summer intensives, one is august 7-12 and the other is the last week of august :) and I'm trying to stretch all July so i don't lose any of my flexibility ;P
