@oh4sure you are denying one of the clearest and most comforting truths about the One True God. God IS sovereign, if He was not, he would NOT be God. If God not be sovereign over these events then these events are purposeless. It is comforting to know that God IS sovereign because it gives us confidence that He is working his perfect plan through them. You speak of knowing God - while at the same time denying one of his truths. These events are horrible but Christ is sovereign over all.

On this sacred day, "our" Christian God seemed clearly on the side of the terrorist bombers.
They prayed to Him to successfully guide their planes into WTC buildings and "our" God granted all prayers to the OTHER god's
At the same time, many thousands of “good” Christians prayed fervently that those buildings would NOT collapse, never realizing that "THEIR" Christian God was using the "BAD" God to kill formerly "GOOD" Christians that had somehow gone "BAD"!
Is God great or what?
