Australian Trains - Beveridge 23/1/2012 - 3 way pass

Rail action at the top of the 1 in 50 grade at Beveridge on the North Eastern mainline in Victoria for a few hours during the evening of Monday 23 January 2012.

In addition to the usual flow of trians, incredibly I was in the right place at the right time to capture 2MB4 down PN freight on the standard gauge and 9319 down PN quarry freight on the broad gauge parallel running with 9306 up PN Tocumwal freight passing through the middle of them on the up BG line.

Just two questions.

1. Is the Albury pass slow due to speed restrictions?

2. Does the next down train have something wrong with the horn? It sounds a bit off.

Great stuff and getting the triple pass is just too good......strewth you could go all day to get three freights in daylight in Victoria and you get them all at once.
